Emily Wants to Play – Flipping the Five Nights Formula

This is the next evolution of the FNaF formula.

Long have developers churned out clones of the Five Nights at Freddy’s games, trying to cash in on the success of creator Scott Cawthon’s blockbuster franchise.

Well, here is an excellent example of someone trying to figure out how they can take that formula and make it different and potentially better.

1) There’s actually a GOOD REASON for you to be (trapped) there
2) Freedom to move
3) Borrowing mechanics from other horror games but putting them in a new shell
4) Great jumpscares that really get you, and just like Five Nights… you know you’re seeing it because YOU fucked up
